Speak up and stop upsetting yourself

Do we worry too much about what other people think?  The story yesterday about the  Anzac Day centenary and how it might cause tension in a multicultural Australia and offend minorities made me think about how far we go not to offend people. Individuals do this all the time.  Acting and speaking in a certain way not to upset, and in doing so, actually upset themselves.
