You Can do Anything but you Can’t do Everything

I fully believe that YOU can do anything you want, and the only question is what do you want?  What do you want so much that you also want everything that goes with it?  That includes the hard work, the sacrifices…..

One definition of sacrifice is “Forfeiture of something highly valued for the sake of one considered to have a greater value or claim.”

That is, you have to make decisions along the way on what you say yes to and what to say no to.  You will have to sacrifice some opportunities for the sake of reaching your own dream/goal – that which you consider to be of greater value to you.

How important your goal is to you will determine how much you are prepared to do and sacrifice to make it happen.

The clearer you are with your goal, and WHY you want to achieve it, the more determined and persistent you will be.

I know people that have wished they could go to the Olympics, or could be a super-model, or have a wealthy lifestyle – but they don’t wish to do the work it takes to get there.  They want the destination, but not the journey.

I was once a very fit and muscular athlete with a 6-pack stomach .I look at photos and think wouldn’t it be great to look like that again AND I also know I don’t want to do the work to achieve that.  I don’t want to spend my time working out hard just to look good as other things are more important to me.

The key to achieving your big dream is to want the journey and to fall in love with that.  The journey is your goal.

So the question is, how do you want to be living your life?

If you could do anything, what would that be?  What are you prepared to do to make it happen?

If you are passionate enough about your end goal, then it won’t feel like hard work, it won’t feel like sacrifice.

My passion is to help people realise they have a choice in how they live their life, so they CAN follow their biggest dreams.

It’s not always easy to see that you do have choices.  Habits and conditions have trained you to think and act a certain way.  What if you did have a choice?  What would you do differently?  What would you keep and what would you change in your life?

The greatest gift we have is to think and to choose.  Decide today how you are going to use that gift.
